Full-Time Daytona Beach, FL, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1103 We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Daytona Beach, Florida. What You’ll Do Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Assist with the month‑end and year‑end close processes Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate supporting documentation Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support annual audit activities , including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions and operational improvements Prepare routine and ad hoc reports for leadership Assist with bank reconciliations and inventory accounting Collaborate with internal teams to support overall financial objectives What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field CPA or actively pursuing CPA strongly preferred 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Demonstrated stability/tenure in previous roles Construction or real estate industry experience is a plus Why Join Us Opportunity to grow within a stable and respected organization Exposure to senior leadership and strategic initiatives Collaborative team environment Competitive compensation and benefits package EOE / DFWP #J-18808-Ljbffr
