Dispatch & Home Delivery Operations Supervisor

Full-Time | $55,000–$65,000/year

BBSI is recruiting for a Dispatch & Home Delivery Operations Supervisor . This is a hands-on leadership position that will begin with dispatch and transition into overseeing the company's home delivery operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable with technology, enjoys working with people, and is willing to learn and perform both dispatch and home delivery

responsibilities .

Dispatch Responsibilities

• Begin the position working directly in dispatch to learn the company's 24/7 delivery operation.
• Coordinate daily deliveries and communicate with drivers.
• Monitor routes, schedules, and delivery activity.
• Resolve scheduling and delivery issues as they arise.
• Learn the company's dispatch software and procedures.
• Provide ongoing dispatch coverage for vacations, call-outs, and other staffing needs.

Candidates must be willing to work dispatch shifts, including early morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts as needed.

Home Delivery Responsibilities

Once trained in dispatch, the primary focus will shift to home delivery operations, including:

• Scheduling and organizing daily deliveries and routes.
• Overseeing a small team of drivers.
• Monitoring inventory and daily activity.
• Assisting with furniture and large-item deliveries and installations when needed.
• Helping improve efficiency and day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Logistics, transportation, dispatch, or delivery experience preferred.
• Strong computer/technology skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable with hands-on work and assisting with large/heavy furniture deliveries.
• Must be willing to work dispatch and home delivery operations as needed.

Schedule & Pay

• $55,000–$65,000/year , depending on experience
• Full-time
• Must be willing to start in dispatch and work varying dispatch shifts.
• Once trained, typical home delivery schedule is approximately 7:00 AM–5:00 PM , with ongoing flexibility needed for dispatch coverage.
