Join Our Family Medicine Residency Program
We are currently looking for a dedicated Family Medicine physician to become a Core Faculty Member in our Family Medicine Residency Program in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the educational and clinical experiences of our residents.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Clinical Duties: 60% of your time will be spent on clinical responsibilities.
- Teaching and Mentorship: Engage in teaching and providing mentorship to residents.
- Optional Opportunities: Involvement in obstetrics and inpatient care at St. Vincent's Hospital is available but not mandatory.
- Our program is accredited by ACGME and is affiliated with the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Family and Community Medicine.
- Conduct 2-3 half-days of patient visits and 3-4 half-days dedicated to precepting residents.
- Provide mentorship through feedback, career advice, and wellness support.
- Collaborate on quality improvement and scholarly projects with residents.
- Participate in the Core Curriculum Committee and conduct evaluations of residents.
- Continuously assess and innovate the curriculum to align with evolving standards and the needs of residents.
- Develop a refugee health curriculum tailored to the Green Bay community and partner with local organizations to assist underserved populations.
- Work in collaboration with the Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS).
- Utilize Epic as the electronic medical record system.
- Currently implementing AI ambient dictation technology (Microsoft DAX).
