Part-Time School Psychologist

Job Description Location: Norwell Community School Corporation Date Available: 07/01/2026 Department: Special Education / Student Services Reports To: Director of Special Education Work Schedule: Part-time; Three (3) days per week; Two (2) days in person and One (1) day remote Contract Type: Certified Staff FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary The Part‑Time School Psychologist provides psychological services to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students. The position collaborates with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. Services are delivered through a hybrid model combining in‑person and remote responsibilities. Essential Job Functions Conduct psychoeducational evaluations in accordance with Indiana and federal guidelines. Prepare and interpret written evaluation reports. Participate in case conference committees (CCCs), both in‑person and virtually. Consult with administrators, teachers, related service providers, and families. Support the development and implementation of IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs. Provide counseling and behavioral support services as outlined in student IEPs. Assist with MTSS and building‑level problem‑solving teams. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education. In‑person responsibilities include student assessments, observations, and required meetings. Remote responsibilities include report writing, record review, and participation in virtual meetings, with availability maintained during assigned work hours. Qualifications Master's or Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology. Knowledge of special education law and evaluation procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
