Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to oncology patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions; ensure safe handling and administration per protocol
- Manage symptoms and comfort measures, including pain control and symptom management
- Monitor clinical status, vital signs, and laboratory results; respond to changes and escalate as needed
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team; educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and discharge instructions
- Document nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record; uphold infection control and safety standards

Requirements
- Current registered nurse license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- Chemo Certification and authorization to administer chemotherapy
- AHA BLS certification
- NIH Certification
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (e.g., ASN or BSN)
- Ability to work in a hospital oncology setting and meet assignment-specific requirements
