Carpenter (Framing & Finish) Pay Range: $20–$35 per hour, depending on experience Employment Type: Full-Time Construction Services ZUMA Contracting LLC is seeking experienced Carpenters (Framing & Finish) to join our growing field operations team. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to the execution of high-quality residential, commercial, industrial, and government construction projects across Michigan. Whether you're framing, installing, or finishing, your craftsmanship will help uphold our reputation for excellence. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans for carpentry tasks. Measure, cut, and shape materials like wood, drywall, and trim using hand and power tools. Perform framing (walls, floors, roofs) and finish carpentry (doors, windows, cabinetry, trim). Install or repair stairs, flooring, drywall, siding, windows, doors, and related structures. Collaborate with supervisors and fellow crew members to complete construction phases on schedule. assist with tool inventory and upkeep. Document completed work, material use, and time spent daily. 5+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred. ~ High school diploma or GED required. ~ Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is a plus. ~ Proficiency in using carpentry tools and interpreting blueprints. ~ Physically able to perform construction tasks in various jobsite conditions. ~ Weekly Pay Cycle Paid Travel Time Some Paid Holidays Safety Equipment Provided Paid Training and Certification Opportunities Career Advancement through Mentorship & Apprenticeship Programs Travel Project Opportunities with Per Diem (for qualifying projects) Full-Time Monday–Friday, occasional weekends as needed Jobsite-based, location varies by project Projects based in Michigan; may include travel opportunities All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
