Job Description Summary The Emergency Department Technician I reports to the Nurse Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Emergency Department Technician I performs multi‑skilled activities to support a decentralized patient‑centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes. Education & Credentials Graduate of an EMT/Paramedic, nurse or medical assisting program. Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire; maintain thereafter. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
