Assembly Technician

Adecco is partnering with a local client in Fall River, WI to find reliable individuals for assembly, production, and material handling work across all shifts. Pay $17-$21/hr+ (based on experience, shift and department) PLUS opportunity for increase during first year 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm 3rd Shift: Sun-Thurs 10pm-6am OT may be mandatory including extra hours during the week as well as weekend work. Responsibilities Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists, and gathering necessary tools and materials. Position and assemble parts using templates or measurements, ensuring correct fit. Verify component specifications through measurement and resolve assembly issues. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to safety standards. Monitor and manage supplies inventory, placing and expediting orders as needed. Complete production and quality documentation, contributing to team goals. Prepare parts for coating by taping, masking, and hanging them properly on the conveyor; assist with assembly and racking as needed. Inspect finished parts for coating quality and thickness using approved tools; report any quality issues to leadership or QC. Unload parts from machine; grind and finish metal parts; sort and count order quantities; mask and hang parts; may be assigned to any department to assist with production needs; etc Material Handler Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility using a forklift, pallet jack, or other material-handling equipment. Move parts and materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas to keep production running smoothly. Complete daily equipment inspections and follow proper material-handling and safety procedures. Qualifications Experience in a technical environment (light electrical or heavy equipment assembly preferred). Material handler positions require 1+ yr forklift experience and ability to pass written assessment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team. Attention to detail, self-motivation, and multitasking ability. Good finger and hand dexterity. Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive tasks. Stable work history with good longevity at past jobs strongly preferred. GOOD ATTENDANCE IS A MUST!
