Data Scientist
Our client, a leading company in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a seasoned Data Scientist with strong business acumen to join their Seattle-based team. In this onsite contract role, you will leverage advanced analytics and machine learning to drive business insights and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and present findings to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science and telecommunications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related field.
- Proven track record applying statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling to real-world business challenges.
- Strong business background with the ability to translate data-driven insights into strategic recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Experience working onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
Additional Details
- This is a 100% onsite role in Seattle, WA.
- Only candidates eligible to work on 1099 or W2 will be considered. No C2C.
- Local candidates preferred, but relocation support available for exceptional talent.
