About the Unit Corewell Health Physical Therapy provides treatments to individuals of all ages who experience pain or physical limitations that affect their ability to move and perform everyday activities. Our licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are dedicated to maximizing movement potential, preventing injury, treating dysfunction, and promoting sustainable wellness. Scope of Work The physical therapist is responsible for examining, evaluating, and developing treatment plans for patients with functional limitations and disabilities. PTs provide consultation to healthcare providers regarding a patient’s continuum of care and must interact appropriately with all patients regardless of age or culture, adhering to Corewell Health’s customer‑service standards. Standard Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required. Master’s or Doctorate Degree preferred. Michigan State License in Physical Therapy required. BLS certification required.
