Direct Support Professional - Day Services We are seeking full-time and part-time Direct Support Professionals for our new Group Day Center in Vinton, and for Community-Based services in the Roanoke area. Our Community-Based DSPs support individuals in learning basic social skills, self-care, communication, exploring interests, and integrating into the community by accompanying them on outings. Outings include recreational opportunities, volunteering, music and art classes, social events, and more in indoor and outdoor settings. Our Group Day Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) will support individuals in a variety of social and leisure activities at the center and plan monthly community outings, helping them learn basic social skills, self-care, communication, and explore interests. Paid training is provided and may include First Aid & CPR, CMRT (Crisis Management & Response Training), Medication Administration, DSP Training, and documentation training. Successful candidates are detail-oriented and maintain accurate notes to ensure continuity of quality care.
