Psychologist PositionThe psychologist works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide services to patients within the cardiology institute. The psychologist will split their time between acute and ambulatory, depending on the need.Some of the psychologist's clinical responsibilities will be relatively predictable, and likely to increase as the program grows. These can include consultations for team members, "curbside" consults related to managing challenging patients, and crisis de-escalation.The psychologist, in addition to patient facing responsibilities, provides invaluable non-billable services that support the multidisciplinary team and cardiology patients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge, skills and abilities within multiple theoretical orientation. Patient centered focused.
