You will be working for our client, a US-based telecommunications company focused on providing broadband and network services across a large-scale infrastructure. They operate in a fully remote environment and specialize in access networks and service activation within a nationwide footprint.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Execute Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching deployments based on approved designs
• Perform network changes, migrations, and turn-ups in production environments
• Implement configurations such as VLANs, trunking, port channels, and routing
• Follow structured change management processes (MOPs, validation, rollback plans)
• Collaborate with Design, NOC, and Operations teams for smooth implementations

Skills you have:

• 3+ YoE with hands-on work in networking engineering
• Strong experience with Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP, trunking, LACP)
• Solid understanding of Layer 3 (routing, IP addressing, OSPF/BGP basics)
• Hands-on experience implementing changes in production environments
• Experience working with multi-vendor equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, etc.)
• Ability to follow structured processes with high attention to detail
• Availability to work overnight shifts (partial schedule following CT timezone)

Skills that will make you stand out:

• Experience in ISP / telecommunications environments
• Basic automation or scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible, or similar)
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Juniper)
