Senior Plant Accountant

What You’ll Do Managing monthly financial close and reporting to accurately reflect plant performance Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliations Supporting inventory tracking, cycle counts, and cost accuracy Maintaining fixed assets and financial records Assisting with pricing, margin analysis, and operational decision‑making Partnering with operations and sales teams to improve financial visibility Supporting audits, compliance, and process improvements Reviewing timecards and coordinating with payroll on regional submissions Identifying opportunities to strengthen systems, controls, and efficiency This role offers exposure to cost accounting, bookkeeping, operational finance, and analysis, making it a strong growth position for someone looking to broaden their skillset. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant experience Several years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or plant/operational environments A strong accounting foundation with the ability to learn, take ownership, and grow into a broad plant‑focused role Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data and ERP systems A self‑starter who can manage multiple priorities and work independently Someone who thrives in a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment Why Join PMG?
