Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Package Engineer / Technical Packaging Engineer with 6 8+ years of industry experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Packaging Development experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in the Consumer, OTC, or Pharmaceutical industry and strong working knowledge of cGMP/GMP, packaging materials, packaging equipment, testing, package development, and highly regulated environments .
Mandatory Requirements:

6 8+ years of overall industry experience.

Minimum 3+ years of Packaging Development / Package Engineering experience.
-
Pharmaceutical, OTC, or Consumer industry experience is mandatory.

GMP/cGMP experience is mandatory.

Experience working in a highly regulated environment .

Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead and execute packaging site transfer projects and packaging lifecycle management initiatives.

Plan and execute package engineering assignments related to complex packaging projects.
-
Develop material and structural aspects of Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary packaging systems .
-
Design, create, review, and approve packaging component specifications .
-
Work closely with R&D on primary component design and product-related changes.
-
Lead package design development, assessment, and qualification activities.
-
Develop and manage packaging documentation, including:
-
Package Component Specifications
-
Package Development Assessments
-
Package Development Plans
-
Packaging Line Trial Protocols and Reports
-
Package Development Reports
-
-
Lead packaging development projects from concept through implementation.
-
Determine and coordinate physical package testing to ensure product and package integrity.
-
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of packaging issues encountered during manufacturing and in the field.
-
Execute packaging projects in compliance with government regulations, cGMP, and corporate guidelines .

Plan and execute packaging line trials and package testing .
-
Support packaging-related investigations, technical assessments, and corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Pharmaceutical, OTC, Consumer Healthcare, or CPG environments.

Experience with regulated manufacturing environments .

Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.

Strong technical writing, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a Packaging Engineer / Package Development Engineer with strong experience in Pharmaceutical, OTC, or Consumer products , hands-on GMP/cGMP , and proven experience leading packaging development, site transfers, packaging testing, line trials, specifications, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management projects .
