Apprentice Fabricator

We are now inviting applications from individuals who would like to pursue a career in engineering, to join us as an Apprentice Fabricator, working in conjunction with Lincoln College on a day release basis.

You will initially be enrolled on a Level 2 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship, which you will complete before progressing to Level 3. The course covers a variety of subjects including theory of materials, interpreting technical drawings, marking out and preparation techniques, welding using various tools, techniques and materials, and quality checks during and after fabrication activities have taken place.

When working in our factory, you will be mentored by highly experienced and skilled staff, learning how to fabricate a wide range of our machinery in mild and stainless steel which will provide you with an unparalleled skillset in light, medium and heavy fabrication due to the variety of work that we do.

On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may be offered a position working in our Fabrication Department, which after you gain experience will open up a variety of possible career options within the Company including the possibility of international travel assisting on installation work, working with our Service Department on maintenance and repairs, or in various other areas of the Company including a variety of office-based roles depending on your aptitude and aspirations.

Minimum Entry Requirements

• Age 16+
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above
• GCSE in one Science subject at Grade 4 or above
• Able to reliably travel to Spilsby and Lincoln
