Overview Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A OTR Driver out of Ft. Recovery, OH. OTR drivers will deliver forklifts, tow motors and parts on a dry van trailer. What You’ll Do Operate newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, or Freightliner trucks with automatic transmission Maintain compliant and safe driving practices to meet DOT regulations Transport forklifts, tow motors and parts on dry van trailers Adhere to schedule and company safety standards Utilize equipment such as PrePass, EFS, and company-provided uniforms as part of standard operations What We’re Looking For Equipment Newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner trucks Automatic transmission Governed speed: 68 mph ELD equipped using Samsara Outward facing camera Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must have CDL A license Must have 6 months of driving experience Hazmat & tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment No felony in the past 7 years No alcohol-related offense in the past 5 years Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Bonuses and Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance effective the 1st of the month following 60 days Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability Additional insurance: long-term disability, voluntary life, AD&D, accident, critical illness 401(k) with company match after 60 days 7 paid company holidays; 5 days PTO after 90 days 3 days paid orientation with travel expense reimbursement Paid quarterly safety training Perks: PrePass, EFS, uniforms, 24/7 driver amenities at corporate office Passenger program available after 90 days of employment Must be an immediate family member at least 13 years of age No slip seating Location Ft.
