Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated 3rd shift Machine Operator to join their team. As a 3rd shift Machine Operator, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Title: 3rd shift Machine Operator

Location: Endicott, NY

Pay Range: $17.00-$19.00 DOE

Shift: 3rd Shift

What's the Job?

• Operate machinery and equipment according to operating manuals and training guidelines.
• Monitor machines to ensure stability and identify signs of malfunction or irregularities.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep machinery functioning optimally and reduce downtime.
• Address mechanical issues promptly and escalate complex problems to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with safety standards.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of basic math and computer skills 
• Flexibility to train on 1st shift for up to 6 weeks
• Availability to work weekends 
• Strong understanding of machine mechanics and operational processes.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
