Our execution has been conducted at a centralized location utilizing proprietary project management software and third-party sub-contractors called service providers (SPs).
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for assisting in daily operations of the warehouse, including the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role involves coordinating equipment and materials related to customer accounts, handling shipping, receiving, returns, and transfers. This role will require attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Manager, Warehouse & Equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by following safety and security protocols.
Inspect the condition of tools and equipment, performing general maintenance and issuing repair or replacement orders as needed.
Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics Coordination
Facilitate the shipment and receipt of goods, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer and company requirements.
Communicate with drivers to coordinate efficient delivery of products.
Ensure that all shipments, returns, and transfers are handled with attention to detail and accuracy.
Compliance and Safety
Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations.
Maintain adherence to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
Customer Service and Collaboration
Respond to warehouse requests promptly.
Work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting shared goals and objectives.
Problem-Solving and Adaptability
Adapt to changing priorities and operational demands while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution, keeping all stakeholders informed as needed.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or related roles.
Knowledge of material handling equipment, tools, and best practices.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and customers.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment as required.
Desired:
Experience with flooring materials and equipment.
Forklift certification.
Strong organizational skills.
