Job Title: Final Inspector / Shipper

Location: St. Johns, Florida, 32259

Pay: $26-28/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Job Description

The Final Inspector / Shipper is responsible for reviewing and verifying orders that have been recently pulled, ensuring that parts are correct, and conducting a final quality control inspection regarding the quantity and condition of parts. Additional duties include creating shipping labels and collaborating with different departments to resolve any issues that may arise. The role requires spending approximately 80% of the time on a computer to process and review orders using the FileMaker system, handling 25-30 orders daily. Familiarity with FAA language and certifications of parts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify recently pulled orders for accuracy.
• Ensure parts are correct and conduct final quality control inspections.
• Create shipping labels and communicate with departments to resolve issues.
• Spend significant time on a computer processing and reviewing orders.
• Utilize the FileMaker system for order processing.
• Manage and process 25-30 orders per day.

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality assurance, quality control, and inspection.
• Familiarity with inventory, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Experience with final inspection and attention to detail.
• Experience in the aviation or aerospace industries.
• Knowledge of FAA language and certifications of parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Hazmat training is beneficial.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 standards is desirable.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled warehouse with open bay doors, alongside approximately 15 colleagues, including three other Final Inspectors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Johns, FL.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
