Cable Assembler

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electro-mechanical cables and build harness boards following customer drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Perform wire preparation using manual and automated equipment, including cutting, stripping, crimping, tinning, and inserting contacts into connectors.
• Apply tie wraps, shrink tubing, flat ribbon cable assemblies, backshells, and labels to wires and cables.
• Perform precision soldering (J-STD) and execute pull tests, quality inspections, and device testing.
• Maintain a safe working environment, follow safety procedures, and assist with standard equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with J-STD soldering.
• Hands-on experience with wire crimping.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical specifications.

salary: $21 - $27 per hour
