• Pay Rate: $75,000- $85,000 (based on licensure and years of experience)

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Director to support the daily operations of the maintenance department in our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role assists in ensuring the building, equipment, and grounds are maintained in a safe, functional, and compliant condition for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily facility maintenance operations.

• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.

• Conduct routine inspections of facility systems, equipment, and safety features.

• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local safety regulations applicable to healthcare facilities.

• Assist with life safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and emergency generators.

• Support environmental safety rounds and regulatory inspections.

• Maintain and organize maintenance logs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules.

• Assist in maintaining grounds, parking areas, and outdoor spaces.

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when needed.

• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare, long-term care, or facility management setting.

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.

• Experience with life safety systems and regulatory compliance in healthcare settings preferred.

• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
