We are seeking a Server to support guests across casual table service, sushi bar service, and takeout and delivery orders. Reporting to the Floor Manager, this role provides knowledgeable menu recommendations, maintains efficient table turnover, and delivers attentive service in a fast-paced sushi restaurant. The position includes weekend availability as well as opening, closing, and rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide sushi and menu recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented tables.
- Support efficient table turnover.
- Upsell menu items and enhance the guest experience.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Support casual table service, sushi bar service, and takeout and delivery orders.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant serving experience.
- Serving experience in a sushi restaurant.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food Handler Certification.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Strong menu knowledge.
- Upselling experience.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
