Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our client' s team in New Caney, TX. This position involves working primarily outdoors, organizing materials, assisting with loading and unloading, maintaining a clean and safe yard, and supporting daily warehouse and yard operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable performing physical work, and able to work effectively in an outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the yard.
• Assist customers and team members with locating and handling materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Perform general yard cleanup, including removing debris and keeping work areas clear.
• Assist with receiving, staging, and preparing materials for shipment or pickup.
• Verify materials and products for accuracy and report damaged items when necessary.
• Safely lift, carry, push, and move materials throughout the workday.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work effectively with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and yard personnel.
• Perform additional general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous yard, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift approximately 40- 50 lbs. As needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to safety and organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
