Support Technician I

Position Summary We’re seeking a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to join our aerospace production team. This role will primarily support a dedicated program requiring full-time focus on specialized tasks, including riveting and cutting pad material, while ensuring components meet exact specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly of aerospace components using hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision instruments Execute repetitive production tasks for a specific program, including riveting and precision cutting of pad material Follow detailed blueprints, work instructions, and schematics Conduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues Maintain accurate documentation and production records Support continuous improvement Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly experience—preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing—preferred but not required Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Experience with sheet metal is a plus A&P is a plus Additional Drug and Alcohol testing is mandatory and random Pay is dependent on experience Full Time available Part Time available #J-18808-Ljbffr
