Position Overview We are inviting a talented and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a part of a flourishing team of imaging experts dedicated to providing outstanding care. In this position, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic examinations, partner with an encouraging team of clinicians, and instill peace of mind in patients through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct an array of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and understanding
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
- Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
