Role Description

This Quality Lead Auditor role works in any region of the USA. The API Quality Lead Auditor will conduct quality audits, verify conformance with established API Specifications and referenced standards, and provide feedback to improve processes. The role involves close collaboration with all levels of an organization. The individual will also verify conformance with ISO 9001 and API Specifications, as well as extensive travel within North America.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English-Spanish


• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with API Q1 and API product specifications


• Strong experience in API Q1 Quality Auditing to evaluate and ensure compliance with standards


• Knowledge of manufacturing processes in metal-mechanic environments, such as welding, NDT, Heat Treatment, or Machining, etc.


• Strong Analytical Skills for assessing processes and interpreting data


• Experience in Quality Control to monitor and maintain product or service standards


• Experience in Quality Management Systems


• Excellent communication and organizational skills


• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently


• Relevant certifications in ISO 9001 quality lead auditing or management are an advantage


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
