We are building more than great places to live – we're creating vibrant communities and meaningful careers.Compensation: $26 to $28 hourly, depending on experience, plus lease renewal bonuses.Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation.Why This Role MattersAs a Maintenance Technician II, you operate independently across multiple trades. You complete service requests, preventative maintenance, and full turns with confidence while helping maintain high operational standards across the property.What You'll DoSkilled Repairs & DiagnosticsIndependently complete service requests and make-ready turns.Diagnose and repair intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.Conduct preventative maintenance and building inspections.Operational ExecutionParticipate in move-in/move-out inspections.Maintain inventory and shop organization.Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.Safety, Tools & ComplianceDemonstrate safe operation of tools, diagnostic equipment, and chemical safety procedures.Maintain personal tool inventory.Complete required safety and compliance training.Additional DutiesThis role may include additional duties consistent with the position.How You'll Show UpSolution-oriented and self-directed.Professional communication with residents and team members.Take ownership of assigned work.Supports and guide Technician I team members when needed.What We're Looking ForExperience2+ years maintenance experience required (multifamily preferred).Intermediate-level skills across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).Working knowledge of appliances.High School Diploma or GED.CertificationsUniversal EPA Certification is preferred.Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification is preferred (where applicable).SkillsComfortable diagnosing routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.Ability to complete full make-ready turns independently.Safe use of meters and diagnostic tools.Proficient with work-order systems and basic computer and mobile technology.Other RequirementsAvailabilityThis position will require availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.Physical DemandsThis position necessitates regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching as well as use of hands and arms. The role may require lifting 50 pounds independently. The ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential. Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The team member must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
