Some of the best and most successful ideas were born in the communities themselves and implemented company-wide by the team members who came up with them.Position SummaryAssists in the planning and implementation of a program of meaningful activities, appropriate to the needs and interests of the participants. Helps to provide programs that promote the creative, spiritual, social and intellectual wellbeing of each participant. In some communities, may assist clients in activities of daily living as needs demand.Essential DutiesAssists with the delivery of the life enrichment plan to include programming and implementation of community eventsAssists in the preparation and purchase of supplies and equipment as needed.Promotes exercise and wellness programs offered within the CommunityObserves and communicates information to others directly involved in care regarding resident needs, desires, and responses to programs and community life events.Maintains records of resident participation in events.Plans resident group excursions and drives the bus for community life trips.Performs various administrative tasks as assigned.Requires schedule flexibility, including ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidaysOther duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications & ExperienceMust be able to read, write and speak the English language.High School Diploma or GED required.
