Sr. Finance FP&A Director- Surgical Operating Unit

Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the Surgical Operating Unit, overseeing financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and performance management for a $6B business. The role involves partnering with executive leadership on growth initiatives and leading a finance team across multiple global locations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executives to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives and growth priorities
- Lead annual operating planning, long-range planning, forecasting, and monthly financial close processes
- Deliver financial analysis and insights on revenue, margins, operating expenses, and capital investments to stakeholders
- Evaluate strategic initiatives and business development opportunities through rigorous financial analysis
- Build and develop high-performing finance team through leadership, talent development, and coaching
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years finance/FP&A experience with 7+ years people leadership, OR advanced degree plus 8+ years experience with 7+ years people leadership
- Demonstrated experience leading financial planning, forecasting, and annual operating planning processes
- Proficiency managing P&L statements and supporting executive-level financial decision-making
- Experience presenting financial analyses and recommendations to senior leadership
- Track record leading and developing teams within global organizations
- Experience with medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries preferred
- MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred
