Store N°8 Portfolio Operations Team Member

The Store N°8 Portfolio Operations Team supports portfolio companies through the incubation lifecycle and helps them move fast alongside Client. We kickstart operations, support back-end business functions during incubation, and when the time comes to leave the nest, we are there to ensure a soft landing.

This role will serve a critical function in the planning and execution of administrative, financial, and operational strategies and programs Store N°8. You’ll balance risk with speed and effectiveness of delivery (i.e., fast AND world-class) and be the bridge between the portfolio companies and Client’s core. You will do this by adopting a start-up mindset and galvanizing existing resources as much as possible (motivating them to accept changes to hard-coded corporate processes).

What You’ll Do

• Own, manage, and optimize key Store N°8 operations programs such as the support framework, shared services operations, and components of the operating model.
• Triage portfolio company support requests, facilitate relationships with Client process owners, troubleshoot, escalate and seek exceptions as needed
• Manage shared service operations and optimizations between functional partners, Client support services, and portfolio companies while reporting progress to leadership.
• Build, grow, and improve the Store N°8 Operations “Self-Service” Knowledge Base, related programs such as onboarding, team enablement materials, etc.
• Collaborate with SMEs, functional partners, and Store N°8 leadership on creation of Knowledge Base content, edit existing content, and lead communications.
• Identify gaps and build programs and processes to address them
• Define programs, strategies, and create roadmaps for net new needs; ruthlessly prioritize
• Direct operational communications to key audiences and stakeholders, as well as write and prepare business-wide communications.
• Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to influence partners and drive Store N°8 initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years related experience in Business Operations, Program Management, Product Management, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience driving large-scale projects to define processes and ways of working.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary.
• Self-starter with analytical skills, able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement, assesses viable solutions, and develops and executes complex projects and comprehensive action plans.
• Conveys a sense of urgency in ways that motivate others to complete responsibilities and achieve goals.
• Uses relevant business metrics, analyses, and reports to measure, monitor, and improve performance. Identifies and applies sound, fact-based criteria in setting priorities and making decisions.
