Procurement Analyst (IT Strategy & Projects)
LanceSoft, Inc.
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to lead end-to-end procurement activities for complex IT projects. This role requires a strong blend of procurement strategy, technical knowledge, and project management expertise , with a focus on software ecosystems and enterprise IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for complex IT projects including Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS, Data Center Hardware, and Managed Services
- Serve as the procurement lead for cross-functional technical projects, ensuring timelines and stakeholder requirements are met
- Manage the full RFI, RFQ, and RFP lifecycle , including evaluation and vendor selection
- Conduct contract negotiations , including pricing, SLAs, and terms & conditions
- Analyze and interpret software licensing models and entitlements to optimize cost and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement timelines with technical project delivery
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulations, and financial guidelines
- Develop reports and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
Required Skills:
- IT Asset Lifecycle & Licensing Expertise (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS models)
- Strong negotiation experience with high-value IT contracts
- Experience managing complex RFP/RFQ processes
- Strong financial and data analysis skills , including TCO and ROI analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT software procurement
- Experience working with enterprise IT vendors and contracts
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and lifecycle
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Prior experience in public sector or government procurement
- Experience designing and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Knowledge of market benchmarking tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)
- Experience with license optimization and audit support
