Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Vice President for one of our General Contracting client in Omaha, NE. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in our organization's growth and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, enhancing client relationships, and ensuring financial performance. This position requires a deep understanding of commercial construction markets, project delivery, preconstruction, and client development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organization, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and vision.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate growth strategies that increase market share and profitability.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with executive-level clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Lead and develop senior-level leaders, promoting a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Collaborate with Market Leaders, Operations, Preconstruction, Business Development, and Executive Leadership to create a consistent approach to evaluating, developing, and growing markets.
• Utilize strong business and financial acumen to identify opportunities for growth, assess risks, and evaluate organizational capacity.
• Balance the success of individual markets with what is best for the overall organization, operating as an enterprise leader.
• Ensure the financial performance of the company by implementing effective financial strategies and controls.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction markets, project delivery, preconstruction, and client development.
• Proven experience leading and developing senior-level leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships.
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate growth opportunities, risk, profitability, and organizational capacity.
• Proven ability to collaborate across operational and business development functions.
• Ability to operate as an enterprise leader, balancing the success of individual markets with what is best for the overall organization.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
• Proven track record of success in a similar role.
