Winston Café is seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Restaurant Servers to join our team. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience through attentive service, strong communication, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Server provides tableside service to guests while supporting the Restaurant Manager and collaborating closely with kitchen staff. This position plays a key role in maintaining a positive guest experience and a smooth, efficient work environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and attentive customer service to all guests
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Maintain flexibility and adapt to changing needs throughout shifts
• Support and uphold company policies, procedures, and mission

Service & Operations

• Accurately take orders and process payments using the POS system
• Handle cash and payments in accordance with company procedures
• Understand menu items, preparation methods, and plate presentations
• Prepare backup products and assist with restaurant readiness
• Operate equipment according to manufacturer guidelines

Food Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company and local health and safety regulations
• Practice proper handwashing and glove usage
• Maintain proper food temperatures and storage standards
• Label and date all prepared and opened food items
• Monitor product quality and discard outdated items
• Record food temperatures at least once per shift and take corrective action when needed

Closing & Maintenance Duties

• Complete all required shift paperwork and timekeeping
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Complete food adjustments and maintain accurate records
• Attend team meetings as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Salary Description


$7.50 + depending on experience , plus tips.
