. The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Urologist to join Mount Sinai Doctors Staten Island.

This multi-specialty practice is located at 1441 South Avenue in Staten Island, NY. Staten Island is the southernmost of New York City's 5 boroughs. It is connected to Lower Manhattan via the Staten Island Ferry, which runs across New York Harbor. With easy access to Brooklyn and Central New Jersey, Staten Island is a residential community, with many attractions for families, such as the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Zoo, Botanical Garden, and the Staten Island Children's Museum. The large patient community typically stays on Staten Island for their routine care. Mount Sinai Doctors Staten Island offers comprehensive care where patients can see a variety of specialties. Additionally, the site has a comprehensive support team, including medical assistants.

The selected candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, the candidate will be a talented physician with a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai's Department of Urology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. Mount Sinai is at the forefront of diagnosis and treatment for urinary tract and prostate disorders, kidney stones and cancer, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction, infertility, and pediatric urologic conditions. Physicians will provide general Urological services in a multi-specialty practice, including office based procedures.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University

• New York Medical License

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology

• Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve

• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills

• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation range from 450K to 600K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.

Responsibilities

• Serve a residential population and live in a neighborhood with great private and parochial school districts. Easy access to cultural activities on Staten Island and Manhattan

• Percentage of outpatient vs. inpatient: 80% office and 20% hospital

• Support staff: Medical assistants and anesthesiologist provides a RN during procedures

• Call schedule example: 1 in 5 or 6

• EMR system: Not currently on EMR, but plan to implement Epic

• No teaching, research, or administrative responsibilities
