Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the emergency department.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to manage emergency situations effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patients according to established protocols.
• Document all patient interactions and care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in continuous education and training to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control policies.
• Float to other areas of equal or lesser acuity based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of consecutive full-time emergency nursing experience required.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Hawaii.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• All licenses and certifications must be valid during the duration of the contract period.

Work Schedule

Shifts will be rotating, with a guarantee of 36 or 48 hours per week, typically comprised of three or four 12-hour shifts, respectively. Flexibility is required, and requests for time off during the initial contract period are limited to a maximum of 7 days.

Compliance Requirements

Compliance with necessary regulations and documentation must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date.
