Pride Health is hiring a Patient Access Team Lead to support our client's healthcare facility in  Penn Yan, NY.

Job Details: 
Schedule:  Full-time, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM–4:30 PM.
Location: Penn Yan, NY – 14456 .
Float / Coverage Area: 
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 18 weeks Contract (Possible extension)
Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties: 

• Lead and support daily Patient Access/registration operations.
• Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to staff.
• Ensure accurate patient demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Monitor referrals, authorizations, registrations, collections, productivity, and accuracy.
• Help prevent denials, penalties, revenue loss, and registration errors.
• Serve as a system/software super user and support staff with technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, payer requirements, and regulations.
• Analyze reports and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Patient Financial Services, Care Management, Scheduling, Laboratory, physician offices, and other departments.
• Assist the Manager with training programs and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements: 

• Education: High school diploma/equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred. 
• License(s):N/A
• Certification(s): N/A
• Years of experience: 

• Minimum 2 years of Patient Access or Patient Financial Services experience.
• Knowledge of insurance, regulatory requirements, medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10.
• Experience with front-end collections.

• Skills/Specialties/Technology:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively with the public.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
