RN, Registered Nurse, Per Diem, Night Shift - ICU, Intensive Care Unit

Job Function Nursing Location Sanford Medical Center - Fargo Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and practice, using appropriate age and population‑specific standards. Provide care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up throughout the continuum of care. Plan and coordinate care, conduct patient assessment, provide patient education, triage, and perform various nursing interventions. Operate within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and administrative rules of the state of practice and licensure. Adhere to the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice’s Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with interpretive statements published by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program (e.g., AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Current, unencumbered RN license with the state board of nursing where practice occurs; or possess multistate licensure in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
