Labor Delivery Nurse - Nights

Nights (18:45-7:15), Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Job Description

The Labor Delivery Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum couplet care. The ideal candidate must have experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment, with a strong ability to assist in birthing procedures and support new mothers and their infants.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the labor and delivery setting and during the postpartum period
• Evaluate and monitor patients' conditions throughout labor and delivery
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
• Assist in the education of new parents in postpartum care and infant care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of experience as a Labor Delivery Nurse within the last 6 months
• Postpartum couplet care experience is required
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and ACLS *(must not expire within 30 days of start)*
• Active NJ or Compact RN License *(pending not accepted)*
