Retail Pharmacy Technician

Essentia Health seeks a Retail Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in delivering patient-centered care at our 2nd St Pharmacy. In this on-site role, you’ll process prescriptions, enter orders, and accurately fill and label medications while using pharmacy software and POS systems. You’ll assist customers at the counter and by phone, handle insurance claims and prior authorizations, and protect patient privacy under HIPAA. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, organizing and rotating stock, checking expiration dates, and keeping work areas clean and compliant with safety and regulatory standards. You’ll collaborate with pharmacists and other team members, contribute to a compassionate, community-focused environment, and have opportunities for growth through ongoing training and skill development within Essentia Health’s integrated care system.
