Job Details Location: Avalon, CA 90704 Position Type: Full Time Shift: Mid Shift Category: Truck Maintenance & Repair (MNT) Skilled Work. Real Equipment. Critical Operations. Diesel Mechanic – Heavy‑Duty Fleet Maintenance Hourly Range: $23 per hour What You’ll Do Diagnose and repair heavy‑duty diesel vehicles and equipment Perform engine, brake, hydraulic, electrical, and CNG system repairs Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections Document repairs and maintenance accurately Work safely in a fast‑paced maintenance environment What We’re Looking For 2–3 years of heavy‑duty diesel mechanic experience Strong diagnostic and repair skills Ability to lift, pull, and push objects weighing over 50 pounds Safety‑focused and dependable work ethic Willingness to work evening or overnight shifts Pay & Schedule Hourly pay Most positions support night operations with 10–12 hour shifts common Day shift opportunities may be available depending on location Overtime is a regular part of this role Equal Employment Opportunity Statement CR&R Incorporated is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination.
