Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide care for patients with conditions such as pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and falls/weakness
• Administer and titrate medications including heparin, bumex, and lasix
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists to monitor and troubleshoot RT equipment
• Assist in patient care tasks such as vital signs, EKGs, and basic care activities
• Work flexibly within rotating shifts and weekend schedules
• Float to various units as needed, supporting lower acuity patients

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Valid RN License
• BLS Certification
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience
• Willing to accept first time travelers
