Description Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe), Strategic Industries Delivery Practice is seeking a highly experienced, skilled and versatile Sr. Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. In this role you will combine scope management, technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of leading multiple Agile teams (like Scrum Masters, Product Owners) concurrently or at scale experience 5+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements experience 5+ years of cloud computing experience Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of delivering customer engagements in a professional services role experience AWS certification Experience with Agile and project management toolsets like Jira, Rally, VersionOne or Taiga Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
