Pay: $18–$21/hour based on certification and experience + $3/hour Weekend Differential
Location: Coon Rapids, MN & Surrounding Areas

Experienced Caregiver Wanted

Comfort Keepers is looking for an experienced and dependable In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized support to a client in the Coon Rapids area.

This position offers a consistent set schedule with opportunities to pick up additional or flexible hours. We're looking for someone who is confident providing hands-on personal care and comfortable working with clients who have more complex care needs.

No CNA or HHA certification is required , but relevant caregiving experience is strongly preferred.

Current Scheduling Need

Monday and Friday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Monday and Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 AM

Additional flexible shifts may be available for caregivers who want to work more hours.

Responsibilities

As an In-Home Caregiver, you'll provide non-medical care and support tailored to the client's needs. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene

• Providing bed-bound personal care

• Assisting with mobility and transfers

• Using mechanical lifts such as Hoyer lifts

• Preparing meals and supporting proper nutrition

• Providing medication reminders

• Providing transportation and assistance with errands

• Performing light housekeeping and organization

• Providing companionship and end-of-life support

• Supporting clients with dementia and memory-related needs

Qualifications & Experience

We're looking for an experienced caregiver who meets the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, DSP, or similar role

• Experience providing dementia care

• Experience with bed-bound personal care

• Experience with mechanical lifts, such as Hoyer or similar equipment, strongly preferred

• Comfortable providing care in a home with pets

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

• Compassionate, patient, and client-focused

• Comfortable working independently in a client's home

Education & Career Advancement

Eligible direct-care employees may have access to scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program .

Qualified team members may receive assistance with approved educational expenses while pursuing CNA, LPN, or RN training , helping support career advancement in home and community-based care.

To be eligible, employees must work in a direct-care role for an average of at least 10 hours per week and meet program requirements. Scholarship funding is limited and awarded based on eligibility, available funds, and approved educational expenses.
