Laborer

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. The General Laborer will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks, assisting skilled workers, and ensuring that work areas are clean, organized, and safe. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn on the job. Key Responsibilities: Assist in loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Operate basic machinery and tools as needed under supervision. Assist with general construction, warehouse, or facility maintenance tasks. Perform physical labor such as lifting, digging, carrying, and moving materials. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times. Assist skilled tradespeople in performing specific tasks, such as carpenters, electricians, or plumbers. Complete basic labor tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, or assisting in demolition or construction activities. Report any unsafe conditions or hazards to the supervisor immediately. Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a labor-intensive role or related field is a plus, but not required. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to (insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs)). Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Must be reliable and punctual. Working Conditions: Work is typically performed outdoors or in a construction site, warehouse, or industrial environment. May require standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods. Safety gear (e.g., hard hat, gloves, steel-toed boots) will be provided and must be worn at all times.
