Labor And Delivery Nurse

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (7p-7:30a or 7a-7:30p) Minimum of 4 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and 2 Friday shifts in a 6-week block Requires one 12-hour on-call shift in each 6-week schedule

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements: Must have a valid license in the state Certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS High-risk experience required Labor and Delivery experience

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery. Assist with various delivery methods including VBACs, Caesarians, and natural births. Float between postpartum and labor and delivery units as needed. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation occurs weekly (every Monday barring a holiday). All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission. Parking is expensive, with costs up to $43 per day; public transportation is available. No local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 miles from the facility). Travelers who have worked for the healthcare facility as travel, permanent, or per diem within the last year will not be accepted.
