Electronic Technician

Worker Type Regular Job Description AV is expanding and we’re looking for an Electronic Technician to join our team! Our office is located in Leesburg, VA where we provide highly competitive drone detection technologies and services to our government, law enforcement, and commercial customers. Primary Responsibilities Include: Constructs, maintains, and tests moderate electrical systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostics tools to test and modify electronic parts. Receives instruction on specific objects. Receives direction on complex problems and possible solutions. Possess effective oral and written communications skills. May assist with communications pertaining specific assignments or meetings. Possibility of up to 10% traveling. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent military experience. 3-5 years of related experience. Effective knowledge of Schematic Capture and PCB layout software. Excellent soldering skills. Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method. Working knowledge of Supply Chain operations and associated management systems. Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Acute attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Clearance Level No Clearance The salary range for this role is: $24 - $36 ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
