Pay Rate: Up to $68/hr combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change. Additional Bonuses, Group Health Insurance benefits available on day 1, 401k and more!Neuro Registered Nurse (RN)Provides comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, and spinal cord injuries. Key Responsibilities:Perform frequent neuro checks, monitor changes in mental status, and manage specialized equipment.  Complete initial assessments upon admission and develop individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.  Implement and modify care plans using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and unit protocols.Document care accurately and in a timely manner to support interdisciplinary team communication. Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying hazards, reporting incidents, and correcting unsafe conditions.  Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgical, and other healthcare teams to coordinate care.Troubleshoot and maintain technical knowledge of equipment; perform bedside lab testing when required. Promote professional development through self-study, teaching peers, and seeking resources. Required Skills & Competencies:Strong neuro assessment skills, including stroke protocols and seizure precautions  Proficiency in neuro monitoring tools and patient safety practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Required Certifications & Licensure:-Illinois state RN License in good standing-BLS (American Heart Association)
