Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX Onsite Required Qualifications ns8+ years of overall IT industry experienc e.5+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka or NoSQL technologie s.Strong programming skills i n Python and/or Java, with a focus on automation and toolin g.Experience wit h CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Git, CloudFormation, and Terrafo r m.Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, o r Kubernetes-based environmen t s.Experience building AI-powered solutions, MCP Servers, Agentic AI systems, or GenAI-based automation tool s.Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting experienc e.Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skill s. Preferred Qualifications onsExperience wi th DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practi c es.Strong production support, incident management, issue triaging, and root cause analysis experien ce.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes administration, deployment, and performance tuni ng.Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability management, CVE analysis, and monitoring cloud/system/device lo gs.Experience designing self-service platforms and operational automation solutio ns. Key Responsibilities Build, manage, and support Kafka and NoSQL platforms in production environme nts.Design, implement, and maintain scalable platform architectures and deployment soluti ons.Develop and maintain automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational workfl ows.Integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into operational tools and platform management proces ses.Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code soluti ons.Execute and manage code deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environme nts.Troubleshoot and resolve platform, infrastructure, and application issues across all environme nts.Monitor system performance, reliability, availability, and security, and drive continuous improveme nts.Collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams to improve platform efficiency and developer productiv ity.Drive operational excellence through automation, observability, reliability engineering, and proactive issue resolut ion.
