Feed Truck Driver

The Feed Truck Driver transports feed and related materials between the feed mill, company locations, and customer or farm sites while following safety, DOT, and biosecurity requirements. This role also supports safe loading and unloading, completes routine equipment inspections, and maintains accurate delivery records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and delivery equipment
• Operate company vehicles safely and comply with DOT regulations, company policies, and biosecurity procedures
• Transport feed and related products from the feed mill to farms, customers, and other company locations
• Load, unload, and verify feed deliveries to ensure product accuracy and prevent contamination or spills
• Coordinate delivery schedules and routes based on production needs, weather, and road conditions
• Maintain delivery logs, inspection reports, and required shipping or regulatory documentation
• Perform basic maintenance checks and report equipment or vehicle issues promptly

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card
• Safe driving record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe hauling practices
• Attention to detail when handling feed loads, delivery records, and inspections
• Clear communication skills and dependability
• Experience working around feed mill, agricultural, or manufacturing environments preferred

Salary Description $24.00 - $28.00/hour
